Born in 1958, Anthony Wyatt lives and works in North Wales.
Since he was a child, Anthony has been fascinated by animals, drawing painting and reading about them, visiting
zoos or just watching the bird table has occupied much of his spare time.
He tries to get to know the animals he draws and spends hours
at zoos and wildlife parks watching and photographing them and talking to their keepers. Anthony strives for a
true likeness and his attention to detail has resulted in many requests from keepers to have a print "done"
of their favourite animal.
Self taught, his pencil drawings are character studies of real
animals and show a true understanding and love of his chosen subjects. His prints are displayed in zoos, wildlife
parks and galleries throughout the U.K.. With ten limited edition prints sold out, his work is becoming sought
after by collectors.
Anthony has recently supported the Chester Zoo Elephant Support
Fund, The Sepilok Orang Utang Appeal, The International Primate Protection League and The Orang Utang Foundation
raising several thousand pounds through sales of donated originals and prints.
