William R. Makinson
Nottinghamshire born Bill originally gained international recognition as an amateur artist, encouraged by his success he determined to devote all his time to painting.
Bill now travels throughout the British Isles to capture a wide variety of subjects,
his paintings have been commissioned by a large number of individuals and feature
in private collections both in this country and abroad.
Recently Bill has enjoyed the wide acclaim of the print buying public, each new publication
is eagerly anticipated and this success has brought his work to the attention of
a broad audience,creating even greater demand for both his originals and limited
edition prints
